Ive enjoyed a busy life with lots of detours and chapters. After earning a BA in Romance Languages, I went on to do graduate work in public health, with a focus on equity and health disparities. I served as Executive Director for a nonprofit, 'Healthy Communities, inspired by the WHO Healthy Cities movement. We focused on multi-displinary approaches to addressing health issues, working in collaboration with schools, the faith community, usinesses, other nonprofits and major health systems. I went on to work for several major health systems leading Marketing and Branding efforts. After retiring, my business partner and I founded Benefit Corporations for Good. We certify small and mid-sized businesses who practice the triple bottom line of "People, Planet, and Profit" as Benefit Corporations. It's a great business model, giving back to the community while pursuing profit. Our company was launched with the publication of the book I co-authored, "Putting Soul into Business" . I am planning to retire this year, to allow me more time hiking, traveling, writing, and painting. It was wonderful o see everyong at our 51st reunion. Everyone has a unique journey. |

I have three children, two grandchildren and one on the way. They are a precious gift!!! Its been great working on the committee all these years and connecting with old friends!!! I hope to see everyone on Friday Night . Unfortunately I have a Saturday night wedding and will miss seeing everybody . The Reunion is going to be great!!! One of our best yet The Lake Theater holds many memories for all of us, so sign up and Enjoy. Things have changed since our last reunion! I now have five grandchildren! They bring such joy to our lives! I feel so lucky that they all live close to us! Family, Friends and Travel have kept us busy! It is hard to believe it's been 50 years since we graduated! I look forward to the day we can all get together and celebrate! Until that time, say safe! It's been quite a year, and a bit of a roller coaster! But I cherish my family and friends and feel very blessed. My youngest son Tracy was married (he's the last one) in January of 2021, Covid style. ( Outside with just family) Although it was not quite what we had envisioned, it was beautiful and Liz is a wonderful addition to our family! We were lucky enough to be able to travel to Hawaii this past May! It was a trip we had planned for over a year and one that had been pushed out from our original date! It was very special to be there with my whole family including my nephew and his famiy. If nothing else this pandemic has taught me to cherish what we Had, what we Have and to hold on Tight! Unfortunately I will miss you all at the reunion this August! i am out of town with Family! I look forward to hearing all about it! Lets not wait five years to meet again! Take Care and Continue to stay safe! |

Comment: Living in Durham for the last 25 years with my wife, Linda. We have 2 wonderful children, Eryn and Evan. Recently retired after 40+ years with GBD Architects in Portland. Passing the time chasing golf balls and attempting to ski long enough to get that elusive free ski pass. Looking forward to seeing all the "old" crew again. |

First of all, I actually didn't graduate from LOHS because my family moved to California in my junior year, but I feel much more connected to my Oregon classmates than I do to the ones in California. After all, I knew many of my LOHS friends from grade school at Riverdale. Anyway, nice to be included. I have 3 kids and 4 grandkids. I've spent at least 20 years working for an entertainer (not famous!) and recently spend a lot of my time playing tennis. Hey, it's almost a full time job! We also were very involved with our grandkids, at least we were before the virus hit. That will continue at some point. We are very fortunate to have the life we live. Looking forward to seeing some of you whenever that may be! |
