Hello Laker Classmates, Abrief update as to life after HS. Graduated from OSU with a degree in Agronomy in 1975. Spent 11 years as a farm crop consultant in Eastern Oregon & Washington. Moved to Snoqualmie, WA in 1986 where I spent 27 years as a Golf Course Superintendent in Bellevue. Decided to retire in 2017 and began driving Special Needs School Bus for the Snoqualmie Valley School District. Moved to Moscow, Id in 2019 to be closer to our 6 Grand Children. Continue to work part time driving school bus and working on the University of Idaho Golf Course. As the Winters are long and cold in Moscow, we are contemplating moving back to Whidbey Island where our two son's live. Looking forward to visiting with all at the Reunion Best Regards, Tom Corlett |

Debbie and I have been married for almost 35 years. We are both "sort of" retired; she will be teaching in the West Linn/Wilsonville School District for one more year, while I continue to work with some individual clients within my consulting business, Our two boys are grown; Chris lives in Lake Oswego and Andrew lives in Denver. That's the rumor. Over the years, family activities have continued to be in fine arts and athletics. I am now officially the worst athlete in the family. Debbie and I have had the good fortune of doing a great amount of travelling over the years, which should pick up even more in the days ahead. Some things never change: in over 50 years, I have never lost to Brad Richards in any track or cross country race. He has finally found peace, and is a better person for it. |

Umm, didn't we just graduate? Looking back over 51 years feels a bit like waking from a dream. It's just that the dream is more Plan B than Plan A from high school. So I drifted through several colleges and degrees, finally getting a Master of Public Admin. Worked as an analyst with the US Dept of Housing & Urban Development until Reagan was elected and discovered the agency benefitted the homeless. Then it was 34 years in commercial real estate. I was fortunate to work on projects with the Urban League of Portland, Catholic Charities, St. Vincent de Paul, and Jesuit HS. In 1981 met Corvallis girl Nancy Reiman through Steve Collinson. (Thanks Steve!). We were married in 1982, and proceeded to have four kids. Our two daughters live in L.O. and our youngest son lives in Vancouver. Some know that our son Brett died in 2004. We wondered if we would ever recover, but peace did eventually come. We are very grateful for the kindness and support we received from many people, including many LOHS classmates. Now we hang out with seven grandkids and spend a lot of time remodeling an old money pit in S Burlingame. I try to volunteer one or two mornings a week at Blanchet House in downtown Portland. It's an eye-opener, and not very glamorous, but I do get to chop vegetables and hand out oatmeal for breakfast... For sanity, I maintain a steady practice of meditation, long walks with a big dog and wine consumption. Looking forward to reconnecting with the "continuing to evolve" versions of ourselves! |

Loving my life experiencing Love, Joy, Peace & Gratitude. I own my own business as a Trager Practitioner, Massage Therapist & Relaxation Guide. I am happy & a comedian in the moment. I cherish my many clients, colleagues & friends with whom I continue to cross paths & explore adventures. I have a dog named Kat, my hubby Jerry subs as my cook & highly paid chauffeur. I have a yarn stash too big to hide, no children, & am knitting the 7th great grand child's baby blanket. My hair isn't really blue, it's deliciously silver or maybe we call it white now. The current photo is a favorite artist's rendering view of my delight. |

My Bio for 55th Reunion Classmates 8-22-25 Looking Forward to the Virtual 55th High School Reunion! I have had a wonderful charmed life and it still just keeps getting better and better, and just when you think it can’t possibly get any better, it does! I adhere to the 13 Life Principles developed by Rennie Davis and his wife Kirsten Leigmann who was one of the leaders of the Chicago 7 which Netflix made a movie of a few years ago. The number #1 Principle is “Better Than You Could Ever Imagine” We create our own reality and we are not victims so we know that the next moment is going to be BTYCEI so no need to worry as that is wasted energy and brings us to the 2nd Principle “Calm Centered”. Then 3 - “Open Curious Innocence” Our true authentic self before we learned to fear and hate, etc. 4 - “Love Yourself Love Your Body” 5 - “No Blame” I create everything in my own reality so I created that and when I took blame off the table all that was left was unconditional love! 6 -”Fear Free” Go after your dream and don’t let anyone stop you. 7 - “Check Egos” If someone irritates you it is a trigger from your past a “Re-Action” See if you can figure it out, name it and let it go and come up with a new tailor made response. This is where self sabotage lies and why I took this course over 7 years ago for 13 months, to stop my own self sabotage 8 -”Appreciation and Gratitude” one of my faves. 9 - “Respect” Respect yourself and others equally don’t put someone below you. Trying to respect your time and not make this too long LOL 10 - “Passion” Live your Passion, don’t let anyone take it away from you. Depaak Chopra may call this living your gift! 11 - “Joy” There is only 1 energy and it is all Joy even if it doesn’t feel like Joy, it is compressed Joy and all the same energy. The trick is to live in Joy all the time and to see the Joy in everything all day long! 12 - “Listening” True Listening can be a bridge to someone’s healing and it is our true authentic self which brings us to the 13th Principle - “Celebration!” When we are living all 12 Principles then we are the Transformation! We are a Source for a Transformed World. Before that we are just the Transition. This has been my drive for longer than I can remember. I had no intention of sharing this yet as I started I could not stop as I felt it was more important than my wonderful life: Traveling around the world for 2 Semesters on a Ship for my 1st year in college visiting 65 countries, Realtor since 21, Natural Health Practitioner in Energy Medicine, reversing Cancer Stage 4 in my own father, and Autism to name a few, The Cream of the Crop Health Food Store and Restaurant, Put on Psychic Fairs and Dances, Had 25 houses all at one time, 3 husbands and with the current hubby for 35 years you have met him at other reunions, 1 daughter and 1 grandchild from my side and same on his side. We have a few houses in Washington where my husband lives, a house in Thousand Palms, CA near Palm Springs where my parents are buried walking distance from where Frank Sinatra is buried. My father is playing the piano while Frank and my mother are singing, I have been in Belize for the last 7 years, have my Permanent Residency, and spent the last year in Bacalar, Mexico and going back to Belize Sept 2, 2025 for the Belize Investment Summit. I am looking to create a Wellness Eco Village Here on over 1000 Acres, 2 year round streams, water is the new gold, abuts the Jaguar Preserve of 128K acres above it, 2 houses, electricity, sewers, wells, rain catchment for drinking, and this all makes the whole project “shovel ready” an important delineation in Real Estate. It is across from a new development that is instantly raising the value of this plus already designated by the government of Belize as a Wellness Eco Village. Location Location Location!!! Did Not mean to share this either and realized there may be a few of you that may be interested in this. It will have an alternative medical clinic. Feel The Oneness of Mango Sanctuary! I hope to piggyback my pet project as there are 64 Mayan Villages here that all speak English and they all have Women’s groups that are legal Co-ops so they do not pay taxes. My goal is to enroll cottage industries through the women’s groups and then the Worldbridger Day Mayan Collective will collect the profits and redistribute it evenly among the participants in the Ancient Mayan Tradition and create a new Economic Paradigm Shift to be an example to the world. I can’t do this alone so I am putting it out there in case anyone in our class has interest! My life feels like it is just beginning! |
